the experience

We open the ceremony by gathering in gratitude for the new life we are about to welcome into this world and the Mother's presence in our lives. We intend to prepare the mom by giving her strength, support, and clarity of mind.

Next, we release our fears. It is believed that the biggest hindrance to a positive birth experience is fear. Giving birth is a releasing process. The baby is one with our body and therefore affected by our mindset.

Blessing of the mother and weaving the web: we will weave a web, to remind us of our connection to each other, to spirit and to the mothers birthing experience. The yarn connects everyone, symbolizing that we are united as one.
